I Love Fall!

I grew up in the Arizona desert, where what few leaves change color MIGHT be changed by Thanksgiving, and the weather was MAYBE cool by then. Now I live in Payson, AZ. Payson is in the mountains and has 4 SEASONS! I can't wait for Fall, when the nights start to cool off.
By October there are usually glorious yellow and red leaves all over town. And Halloween! I LOVE Halloween! We used to plan a party for my sons and their friends. They are 17 and 19 now, and aren't interested in a party with their parents. But we sure had fun with the parties for a few years! Then in November comes Thanksgiving- my favorite holiday. I think Thanksgiving is the best Holiday of the year. It's not as commercial as Christmas sometimes can be, and it centers around Family. It also emphasizes giving thanks to the Lord, and counting your blessings. I want to have a year-round Thankful Heart. Here is a link to one of my favorite poems, one that evokes Fall for me.
