I found this old Christmas Legend a few years ago, on a web site which has since dissapeared. I think that I remember seeing it in a magazine when I was very small. I added the graphics to make this "cat lover's" holiday Christmas card. If it is hard to read, I apologize. I wanted it to be in a "pretty" font, and I put several choices in the code hoping a nice one will show up on your computer.
Merry Christmas!

The Legend of the Cat At Midnight's Stroke, on the First Christmas, half the world awoke.
And Cat came too.
Mincing on delicate feet to see the Child.
While the rest knelt in praise,
Although their anthems lifted all around,
Yet as morning dawned, and one by one the other creatures fled,
